Freshdesk integration guide

NOTE: This help article is intended for customers on our self-serve level of service. If you are an Olark Pro customer, your integration likely will work differently. Please reach out to pro@olark.com for help with setting up your integration.

You can link Olark with your Freshdesk CRM software. All you need to do is follow this quick guide to have your chat transcripts and offline messages sent to Freshdesk.

Supported Freshdesk plans

Important:
This integration works with the following Freshdesk plans: Sprout, Blossom, Garden and Estate.

Setup steps

  1. Go to your Setup page.
  2. Enter your email in the Transcripts section, and be sure to check the box for: Email a copy of each transcript to.
  3. Go to our Offline Settings Page, and input the same Freshdesk email address under Send to email.

Testing

You can send yourself an offline message or have a chat conversation to check whether your new setup is working.

Please provide the domain name where your Olark live chat is installed.
Include the relevant transcript URL, if possible. You can send us the specific URL from your Transcripts page.
If you see specific error messages, banners, warnings, notices, etc., please let us know here.
