Using the Chatbox for Offline Messages
Enabling the offline message form
When your agents are away from chat or offline, you can turn the chatbox into an offline email form. This can be done from the Chat Widget settings page.
In the Surveys section, set the "When no humans or bots are available to chat" setting to "Collect these fields and take a message."
You can choose to collect Name, Email, and/or Phone and if each field is required or optional. A message field will populate automatically.
